Acceptable Behaviour Policy

My team are here to help, but I need to make sure they can work in a safe environment. In all communications, in person and in writing, I will not tolerate any violence, threats or abuse towards myself or my staff. This includes behaviour which is threatening, offensive or derogatory, discriminatory in any way, or makes serious allegations without any evidence. My team also have the right to carry out their duties free from harassment or unreasonable demands which impact substantially on their ability to help constituents. When my office experiences behaviour or demands which are unacceptable, I may consider taking action, including but not limited to: communicating only in writing or via a representative, limiting contact, stopping all communication with a constituent, or reporting the matter to the Police.

Social Media Conduct

My team reserve the right to moderate the comment section of my social media posts to ensure any debate remains respectful. This may mean deleting or hiding comments which are abusive, offensive or threatening in nature, or could be considered discriminatory against a specific group.

This policy will be regularly reviewed and updated – it was last updated in December 2025.
